Little Book of Love

1996, NR, 91 min. Directed by Sandra Werneck. Starring Andréa Beltrão, Daniel Dantas, Tony Ramos, Monica Torres, Gloria Pires.

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Thu., Sept. 9, 1999

Equal time is given to male and female perspectives in this take on modern Brazilian love. A romantic comedy, Little Book of Love looks at the stages of a couple's affair and divides them into alphabetically arranged scenes. Quickly edited scenes are mixed with documentary stylings to present a fresh study of courtship.
