Jacquot de Nantes

French filmmaker Jacques Demy (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Donkey Skin, The Young Girls of Rochefort) died a couple of years ago. His filmmaker wife, Agnes Varda (Cleo from 5 to 7 and One Sings, The Other Doesn't), made this tribute to her spouse. It's based on Demy's memoirs of his childhood in the countryside spent longing to make movies.
