    A challenge that encourages families to make time for summer fun with on-demand workouts, activities, and three free visits to the Y. Text SUMMER to 877/799-6220 to register, then pick up a passport filled with ideas and activities, or download it online and get started. Turn in the completed passport at the end to be eligible to win a membership or a family trip.

    City of Austin Fire Department is recruiting youth ages 14-20 to join Exploring, Boy Scouts of America's character and career development program for youth. The AFD Explorer Post #370 teaches youth about careers in fire rescue and helps them sharpen leadership skills.

    Austin Humane Society's Summer Kids Series

    For a paw-some summer, register your li'l animal lover for AHS's virtual, hands-on educational sessions, including live shelter tours, dog walks, storytime with shelter pets, crafts, and dance sessions. It's all free, and supplies are provided via pickup or you can get a supply list online. Graduation is Aug. 6-7 and comes with a certificate and swag bag.

    Broadway Master Class

    Class is now full; ask about wait list. A workshop geared toward students age 10+ with a strong passion for the performing arts. Students will study the three disciplines of musical theatre (acting, voice, and dance) and dive into song interpretation, vocal technique, scene study, and monologue performance.
