    The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer program could provide Austin ISD families a one-time benefit for eligible families to buy food. Families could receive up to $285 per child, which can be used in the same way as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program food benefits to pay for groceries.     Austin’s local climbing gym and fitness center is now offering online classes including training for climbing, yoga, HIIT, and circuit training to keep Austinites mentally and physically healthy.     Pease Park could use your help. Since we’ve been social distancing, Pease Park Conservancy hasn't been able to host their annual spring volunteer events. They’re asking for volunteers to help curb some of the ragweed and litter that has found itself in Pease Park while also maintaining a safe distance away from each other. This is a DIY project and anyone can get involved; just show up anytime throughout the next month and do your part.

No prior experience is needed; you will receive three hours of paid training by Travis County Elections and guidance from veteran workers.
