Prize juror Sedrick Huckaby has selected French Canadian sculptor Shanie Tomassini as this year's winner, and so the artist receives a full exhibition of her work, featuring oversized sculptures, fountains, and negative-space forms installed throughout the Umlauf’s six-acre site.
