Austin Creative Art Center: Carter Watkins

The ACAC presents works by this local artist of highly detailed, mosaically beaded sculptures, his Huichol-inspired craft requiring beeswax to adhere individually placed beads to the surface of whatever object he's turning into a polychrome wonderground of abstract or representational pattern.
