    Gold n' George present a show of bird dances and songs, a shared repertoire of mysterious and magical creatures, created by Heloise Gold in collaboration with Rosalyn Nasky, Kelsey Oliver, Kelly Hasandras, Kate Taylor, and Lulu Fisher.     EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING!

    To close this 19th year of making dances for her company, Kathy Dunn Hamrick has revisited pivotal moments from previous works, placed them within new contexts, given them new meaning, and created a whimsical hourlong show that stands alone as an entirely new dance. So now here comes everything KDHDC, in a stunning reinvention of original music scores, graphic art, video, and costumes.

    Metamorphosis Dance: Ballet Under the Stars

    This season’s show, ready to glorify Zilker's hillside theatre, features the music of Ludwig Minkus, known for his ballets Don Quixote and La Bayadère. The virtuosi of Metamorphosis Dance will be joined by guest artists from Ballet Austin and Ballet San Antonio and will also debut works created by the company's artists.

    This is an evening of critique-in-process dance performances by four independent Austin-based choreographers: Alexa Capareda, Emily Rushing, Lauren Tietz, and Rae Fredericks.     The Dance Project: Director's Choice

    Here's a show with many different types of dance, from sassy jazz to contemporary ballet, featuring guest artists Cheryl Copeland, Rebecca Gamborino, Poet Powell, Hannah Vasquez, and Shell Baumann. Also, Adriana Okoye debuts a piece inspired by social media; Tisha Coffey presents "Shapes and Lines;" and Diana Wang delights with "Vanya," inspired by the amazing violin music from Umbrella Academy.
    Sat., June 1, 3 & 6:30pm. $15-22.
