Rivaling fictional Greendale's Human Being from NBC's Community as most awesomely hilarious community college mascot, our own Austin Community College debuted their new mascot today, the Riverbat.
“This is huge! We finally have a mascot, something to rally around and take ownership in,” says Avy Gonzalez, a student who co-chaired the search committee. “I can’t wait to see Riverbat merchandise take its place alongside all the Longhorn, Bobcat, and Aggie T-shirts we’re used to seeing around Austin.”
