Big Weekend for the Toros, Stars, and Express
Playoffs, season opener, and Lance Berkman

It's a big week for Central Texas pro sports as the Texas Stars host their first-ever home playoff game tonight at 7:30pm, the Round Rock Express get their regular-season home schedule started tonight at 7:05pm, and the Austin Toros host round-two NBA D-League playoff action Saturday at 2pm.
With the Astros faltering out of the gate it's a good time to keep an eye on what's going on at the Dell, because there are plenty of holes to fill in the Astros lineup. The big news this weekend is that Astros' fan favorite Lance Berkman will be pulling a rehab stint with the Express and is scheduled to appear in the Saturday and Sunday games for Round Rock. Berkman is rehabbing a bad knee and here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Houston could use a healthy Berkman badly.
Here's the details on the games:
TEXAS STARS Vs. Rockford Icehogs: Fri., April 16, 7:30pm; Sat. April 17, 7pm. Cedar Park Center, 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park, 512/GO-STARS. $10-28.50.
ROUND ROCK EXPRESS Vs. New Orleans Zephyrs: Fri.-Sat., April 16-17, 7:05pm; Sun., April 18, 2:05pm; Mon., April 19, 7:05pm. Vs. Omaha Royals: Tue., April 20, 7:05pm; Wed., April 21, 6:05pm, Thu.-Fri., April 22-23, 7:05pm.
AUSTIN TOROS Vs. Rio Grande Valley Vipers: Sat., April 17, 2pm. Austin Convention Center, 500 E. Cesar Chavez. $10 buy-one-get-one-free floor tickets.
