Erwin Center Unveils 'Inside the Arena: Three Decades of Legends'

The Frank Erwin Center is inviting the public to help them celebrate 30 years of hosting cultural and sporting events in their facility with the photo exhibit “Inside the Arena: Three Decades of Legends.” The exhibit debuts Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Texas vs. Texas Southern men’s basketball game, and Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Texas vs. UT-Arlington women’s basketball game. They'll be serving cake on the concourse during halftime at both of these games.

The exhibit features 30 years of legendary performances in the Erwin Center from the likes of Prince, Madonna, Tina Turner, Kiss, and Tom Jones, as well as sports stars such as Kevin Durant, Clarissa Davis, and T.J. Ford. It will also feature photographic documents from Jody Conradt’s 700th and 800th career victories and the win that made Rick Barnes the all-time winningest coach in UT history.

More than 24 million fans have entered the doors at the Erwin Center attending more than 6,000 events. Be sure to check out this historic photo display on the concourse of the facility next time you're at the Erwin.
