Chrontourage Ping-Pong Tourney a Rousing Success

Thirty-two players faced-off at the Chrontourage Balls of Fury Ping-Pong tournament held Thursday, Aug. 23 at the La Zona Rosa Backstage Bar. With three amazing prize packages up for grabs – see my preview here for a full list – competition was fierce and furious (pun intended) with paddlers competing in best-of-three preliminary rounds (first to 11 and winning by two) leading up to a championship match between Jay Sun and Sandeep Kumar. The championship match was of the best-of-five variety with Kumar sweeping Sun in three straight games. Third-place honors went to Roderick Medina. Congrats to the winners and thanks to all who participated and showed up to cheer on the competitors.
