Austin Lightning Moves Home Games to House Park
By Nick Barbaro, 5:02PM, Thu. May 10, 2007
The Austin Lightning announced today that "due to stadium circumstances beyond our control," all home games this season – including the home opener this Saturday against New Orleans – have been moved to House Park Stadium.
Bummer for them to have to move on such short notice, no doubt, but House Park's a great venue; this could be for the best in the long run.
7:30pm, Saturday. $5 for adults, $3 for kids, under 5 free.
House Park is on Lamar between 12th and 15th.

"The May 12th US OPEN Cup Qualifying Austin Lightning Soccer Game vs. The New Orleans Shell Shockers has been moved! This is due to stadium circumstances beyond our control. Instead of Burger Center Stadium, this game, and all other home games in the 2007 season will be played at the 7,000 seat House Park Stadium. We regret any inconvenience to our fans. Please know that, given the circumstances, the change is considered in the best interest of our players and fans. House Park is an excellent facility and we will rock the house on Saturday night! Game time is 7:30 PM."
