St. Ed.'s Taylor Mullenax Named Heartland Conference Player of the Week

Sophomore basketball forward Taylor Mullenax won Conference Player of the Week honors this past week for his excellent play in helping the Hilltoppers to victories over UT-Permian Basin and Panhandle State (Okla.). Trailing by 7 vs. UT Permian-Basin with 30 seconds remaining, the Hilltoppers rallied with Mullenax scoring the game-winner at the buzzer. He had a career high 31 points in that game, is second on the team in scoring (12.4), and leads the team in rebounds (6.6).
