This Week's Waste of Time
Some random games for distraction purposes

A little bit of randomness for This Week's Waste of Time as we get nostalgic for monochrome Game Boys and considerably less starry eyed about the films of Jean Claude Van Damme and toothaches. Don't worry, this will be quick.
First off, is the self-explanatory Handheld Video Game that offers a small dose of vintage running and jumping made to look like a classic Game Boy. Throw in a little twist at the end, and you have a game that's just rewarding enough to throw a few minutes its way.
Next up is a flirting simulator where you are Jean Claude Van Damme trying to bag Kylie Minogue on the set of Street Fighter. How did I forget she was even in that movie? The suggestively titled Show Her My Thailand's content and graphics are crude but hilarious. I have yet to woo Minogue successfully, but I like to think it's a statement on women's uncanny ability to detect creepiness. Not that JCVD can hide it in this game or anywhere else for that matter.
The final game of this random triptych is a surreal number named OWWW from Kyle Reimergartin (aka Lazer Catz) who takes a trip into the mouth of fellow indie developer Terry Cavanagh in the hopes of fixing his tooth ache. The game's controls are inspired by Cavanagh's VVVVVV where the player can move left and right as well as reverse gravity. Success does not mean you are a certified dentist.
