The AggreGAYtor: October 18
What happened today in gay? Here’s your QILTBAG recap of queer news.
2:30PM, Fri. Oct. 18, 2013
New Pope allegedly says something nice, Peaches owns queer, and trans New Yorkers get targeted on the daily, as your AggreGAYtor hails to the guardians of the watchtowers of the east... side.
The Good
-
Pope Francis has written a supposedly nice letter to
Miley Cyrusa gay Catholic group. -
American Horror Story is back on the tubes. Spoilers!
- Polari! Queer! (Also a quick review of the opening film here, and the new Scott Dinger Award here)
- Peaches! Queer! Even though she's totally doing the penis-in-vagina thing right now. Deal.
The Bad
-
Hate crime laws work better when they're adopted before people beat gay people to death and carve schwastikas into their bodies.
- Everyone should carry condoms, and nobody should be arrested and accused of hooking for that.
The Fugly
-
"Ex-gays" are perpetrating universities in Virginia and suing London's public transit authority for not treating LGBTQ folk as mentally ill.
- Why are heterosexuals so obsessed with cramming things down throats?
It Came From the Tubes
Sounds like Studio City.
