Helllooo Sailor Party Recap
Dandy and krewe got down!
By Rob Cohen, 2:19PM, Wed. Mar. 14, 2012
Dandy Unicorn and the Gay Place krewe have a warm, burning sensation in our hearts (and southerly parts). It's called love, and everyone was feeling it at our parties this past weekend.
We teamed up with the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and Bernadette's, and Sideways Vegan Foods to bring you a hot, free party for all.
The night started off with the tasteful DJs of Alien She doing their thing. Then we had local queer favorites Agent Ribbons who played an awesome, energetic set. Local youngins Charlie Belle were up next. Their pop rock precision will put the oldest music vets to shame. Their set was brisk, refreshing, and really pumped the crowd up. Finally, the night ended with '69 Judas who conjured up a glorious, howling racket that discombobulated everyone.
A big thanks to everyone who participated and came out to the show. You love us, you really love us.
