By The Glitoris, 9:37AM, Wed. Dec. 1, 2010
Get out yo' pussy warmerz, December gonna be a cold month, TRUSTZZZZZ.
Dance duo, The Glass, made it into two spots on our Top 10 list this week.
The Glass are comprised of Dominique Keegan and Glen “DJ Wool” Brady. Both DJs own separate record labels and reside on opposite sides of the world (Manhattan & Berlin, respectively).
The duo is originally from Ireland, and have been making music for six years now. Their debut full-length album, At Swim Two Birds, was released November 16, 2010. In a recent interview, Keegan said it took the duo six years to come out with a full-length album because they "didn't want to fully commit as 'electronic artists'." The album blends a good mixture of house music, electro-pop, and new wave.
Filling in the gaps are veteran artists, The Human League, with their newest track, "Night People." “Night People” is the first single taken from their new album entitled, Credo. This track is their first new material since Love Me Madly? was released in 2001.
Brand new(!) releases from Australian group, Cut Copy & NYC disco collective, Hercules & Love Affair top off:
