Commie Homo Loving Sons of Guns!
Dustin Lance Black and Sean Penn give some face!
By Andy Campbell, 10:24AM, Tue. Feb. 24, 2009
Dustin Lance Black won an Oscar for best original screenplay for Milk, an Independent Spirit award for the same thing, and we're predicting his mug will be all over the gay rags come next month – especially for his moving acceptance speech:
"To all the gay and lesbian kids out there tonight who have been told that they are less than by their churches, by the government, or by their families, that you are beautiful, wonderful creatures of value. And that no matter what anyone tells you, God does love you. And that very soon I promise you, that you will have equal rights federally, across this great nation of ours."
And Sean Penn won Best Actor. An Oscar is better than a Golden Globe anywho, Seany. And Mr. Penn got political on all of our asses, too, with his speech:
For Milk and his homo kin, marriage rights may have been a victory to be won along the way, but what they really wanted was to be able to live their lives with dignity and grace. Dustin and Sean are artists at the top of their game, and these awards go waaay beyond well-earned.
