The New and Improved City Hall

But no Sheriff Joe in sight …

The New and Improved City Hall

Just because the front of Austin's City Hall today reads "Maricopa County Courthouse" doesn't make it so. Indeed, if you were headed to The Point this afternoon, you might've thought you skipped through a wormhole and ended up in Arizona. Not so.

Rather, it was just the cast and crew of the ABC Family show The Lying Game, venturing out to shoot a scene for the teen drama, set in Arizona but shot in Austin.

If it were really the Maricopa County Courthouse you'd expect to see more Sheriff Joe and less teen angst.
