Want love on Valentine's Day? According to the Austin Humane Society, the best way to do that is to let the furry into your heart.
And in order to help facilitate new love, AHS is reducing adoption fees all weekend for dogs and cats six months and older. From today (Friday), Feb. 11, through Monday, Feb. 14, older puppies and kitties will cost you just a $20 adoption fee (down from $85). And the shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs and cats over six years old.
But wait! There's more!
Every adopted animal will receive up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, a microchip for tracking, a free month of pet-health insurance, a complimentary vet visit, and a goodie bag.
Now that's a lovely – and loving – deal.
