The Totescast knows that times are tough all over – and the problems facing city and county mental health services are no exception. Per our news feature this week, we take a closer look at how ongoing funding difficulties and a lack of local resources mean Central Texans in crisis fall through the cracks.
Then, on an equally grim note, we dissect the tepid City Council support of City Manager Marc Ott at his performance evaluation last week, rocked by his (mis)handling of the explosive KeyPoint report, another topic of considerable council consternation. Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar will be there to pick up the pieces.
