This morning, city manager Marc Ott had an informal sit-down with the City Hall press corps, in order to mark the one-year anniversary of his tenure. While we scarfed down breakfast tacos, Ott spoke broadly about his experiences since taking the gig. Aside from that, the city staff had prepared two factsheets about the city manager, one titled "Accomplishments" and another named "About Marc."
While Ott's accomplishments are largely what you'd expect (the city's disaster response to Hurricanes Ike and Gustav, for instance), the "About" sheet was filled with the sort of personal trivia about the manager you might not expect to know. Let's run it down, shall we? (We copied the results verbatim.)
