Doherty's First TV Ad
Democratic challenger goes after McCaul
By Lee Nichols, 5:43PM, Tue. Oct. 21, 2008
As promised, here is the first TV ad of the general election from Larry Joe Doherty, the Democratic challenger in Congressional District 10 to incumbent Republican Michael McCaul. As we noted in an earlier post, this ad is significant because Doherty is the first Democrat with sufficient funding to actually buy TV time since District 10 was redrawn in 2003 by Tom DeLay to favor Republicans.
I would embed McCaul's ad here, but because it starts automatically (that gets pretty annoying after repeated visits to Newsdesk) we'll just link it here.
