Vigil for Tejano Legend Emilio Navaira, April 4

Announcement of vigil for Emilio Navaira hosted by several Tejano music organizations.

Primetime Tejano TV in association with Tejano Artists Music Museum, EstiloTejano.com, The Austin Tejano Music Coalition, and iTejano.com will host a prayer vigil for Emilio Navaira. The popular Tejano music legend was seriously injured in an Easter Sunday crash. Navaira suffered severe head injuries and has been hospitalized since the incident. The Austin vigil is one of several that have occurred across Texas.

The Navaira vigil takes place Friday, April 4, 2008 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2110 East 2nd Street in Austin, Texas.

Activities include music by DJ Marcus prior to the vigil at 7:30 pm., guest speakers at 8pm., followed by a rosary at 8:30 pm.
