Seventeen-year-old country artist Ty Myers has signed with RECORDS Nashville/Columbia Records.

Based out of Dripping Springs, Myers began releasing music in March 2023 and has quickly amassed over 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners alongside millions of streams. His career’s trajectory has been on an undeniable up-and-up, as he is in the midst of a summer tour around Texas, with shows scheduled as far along as October.

Myers has many hits under his belt, such as “Drinkin’ Alone,” his most popular at 13 million streams. It’s a melancholy tune perfect for slow-dancing or, as the title might suggest, drinkin’ alone. Myers’ music is characterized by gentle guitars underneath buttery vocals. It’s country to the bone, with lyrics that pack an emotional punch.

On June 24, Myers announced signing with RECORDS Nashville/Columbia Records after having impressed the CEO, Barry Weiss, with his musical and performing abilities.

“After a year of being pursued by every major label from Nashville to LA to New York, I am beyond excited to have signed with Records/Columbia,” Myers said in a press release. “They felt like family from the very start, and they share the vision I have for my music and my future. I feel incredibly blessed and honored that they are backing me, and I am just so stoked to get started. It's a dream come true.”

Myers is set to release his newest single, “Let ’Em Talk,” soon. Myers’ most recent performance was at The Venue ATX on June 27.
