5 Minutes with Mirror Travel

Last Friday, I caught Mirror Travel at Mohawk. The local threepiece previewed material off its debut album, Mexico, out October 15 on ATX imprint Modern Outsider Records.

Before chatting with guitarist Lauren Green and drummer Tiffanie Lanmon, I had the good fortune of meeting the former’s mother. Mrs. Green recalled when the girls would make a ruckus in her garage and how she’d have to readjust all the paintings in the house after they’d finished playing. Punk rock mom, for sure.
