Bob Schneider: The Good Fight
Premiering the local Austin Music Award king’s new video

“You think you have it made, but you never have it made.” Bob Schneider’s reflective lyrics for “The Good Fight,” from his new album Burden of Proof, contrast starkly with the video’s vintage black and white disaster footage.
The combination is as unsettling as it is provocative: images of flood damage in early 20th century towns, from rising waters and floating houses to nameless volunteers. All the while, Schneider muses on the bittersweet aftermath of love gone awry, with the Tosca strings as gentle comfort.
