Aussie drone duo wants to sax you up

Diamond Days

After Ruskie-loving indie-poppers Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin play outside tonight at Mohawk, stick around for the inside show, headlined by Australian duo Fabulous Diamonds.

Multi-instrumentalist Jarrod Zlatic and drummer/singer Nisa Venerosa take turns splashing around in dub, trance, and minimal electro, churning out strange soundscapes that benefit from a repetitive nature. They have two albums out on underground bunker Siltbreeze, the most recent being this summer's II.

Locals Soft Healer open with a similar tribal hum. Starts at 11pm. See below for a sample of FD's steez.
