Bill Baird kick starts his latest Sunset project

Love Shines

Taking a cue from Shearwater, Sunset is using Kickstarter to raise funds for the band’s latest, Love Shines But the Moon is Shining Too.

“For the past two years I’ve been putting out music with my group Sunset using my own money, whatever I can raise, however I can - bake sales, car washes, male prostitution, you name it,” relates mad scientist Bill Baird in the accompanying video. “But I found myself a poor gigolo, a terrible cook, and very bad at cleaning cars.”

The money will be used for double vinyl pressing, radio promo, and tour support. There are a variety of pledge packages, including a house show for $300, which is a bargain by any measure.
