Located at 1817 S. Lamar Blvd., this first stand-alone restaurant from the Austin-founded taqueria will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours and feature an expanded cocktail menu, classic frozen and rocks margaritas, beer, and housemade agua frescas. The South Lamar location will debut a brand-new marg, the Doña Rita, made with Tacodeli’s much-loved spicy green sauce. The location will also boast a large, pet-friendly patio.

“With Tacodeli celebrating 25 years in Austin this year, we are so excited to continue to grow in our hometown and be part of the South Lamar corridor,” chef/founder Roberto Espinosa said in a Tuesday morning press release. “We’re joining some spectacular restaurants and retailers that have made that part of Austin home for many years. The neighborhoods that surround our new location are well-established, awesome communities that we look forward to serving.”

To celebrate the July 17 grand opening, Tacodeli is offering $5 margaritas and promises more giveaways via Instagram.
