Attention Hot Sauce Makers and Festival Lovers!

Does your hot sauce bring all the folks to the yard?

When you show up at a party with homemade salsa do you get bombarded with requests for the recipe? Have you ever considered quitting your day job to allow more time for making hot sauce? Maybe you’ve never made hot sauce in your life, but an angel visited you in a dream and told you to try.

Regardless, there’s still plenty of time to hone your hot sauce skills and enter the individual contest. We’re accepting entries until the festival opens at 11am on Sunday, August 26! Sign up here.

Perhaps even more important is our humble request for more volunteers on the big day. You know you want to attend the festival anyway, so why not receive a couple of drink tickets and a free Hot Sauce Festival T-shirt in exchange for a few hours of your time? Did I mention you’d also be helping the Central Texas Food Bank and all of the people they help? Sign up here.

If you have any volunteer questions, please contact Faith Cichon, Volunteer Coordinator, at [email protected]. Other questions should go to [email protected].
