Dear Glutton: SXSW Edition Day Three

The early bird gets the music

Dear Glutton,

I'm in town for SXSW, and while I am super excited to see Austin I'm also FREAKING OUT because there are so many cool things to see/hear/do/eat. Help me!

You’re a pro now, so it’s up bright and early for Chvrches 10am set on KGSR’s live broadcast from the W Hotel. These early morning sets are one of Austin’s best kept SXSW secrets, mostly because no one here can get up early even at the best of times, so they’re less of an overpacked mess of humanity than the afternoon and evening shows. Plus, Chvrches makes such peppy get up music that you won’t be able to help shaking off that bed head and breaking it down. Reward your initiative with brunch at La Condesa, the Huevos Condesa with lusciously greasy duck fat poached potatoes if you want to do things right, and a few $2 Bloody Marys on the side. That should give you enough energy to get through the rest of the day or, more realistically, drag yourself back to your overpriced Airbnb for some much needed beauty sleep.
