Pluckers Hosts Ultimate Lip Sync Battle

Pluckers Wing Bar owners Mark Greenberg, Dave Paul, and Sean Greenberg are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their homegrown sports bar chain with a couple of seriously fun events. Put your talents to work at the party this weekend for a chance to win tickets to a UT football game watch party and concert on September 5.
This weekend, the guys are inviting their loyal customers to participate in an epic lip sync battle at the South Lamar location. In order to enter, fans must submit their best performance by posting a video on Facebook with the hashtag #PluckersLipSync by Wed., Aug. 19. The video must be a minimum of 30 seconds long, but no longer than two minutes, and there's no limit to the number of people who can perform in the video.
Performers in the top 10 videos will be invited to compete in the finals to be judged by Jason Dick and Deb O'Keefe of The Morning X on 101X-FM and Taylor Ellison, host of KEYE's We Are Austin. All 10 of the competing teams will receive five tickets to the UT watch party and 20th Anniversary concert at ACL Live at the Moody Theater featuring Passion Pit and Bleachers. The first and second place winners will win five meet-and-greet-the-artists passes to the concert.
On the day of the lip sync battle, the first 150 people who arrive before 7:15pm and post a picture to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the same hashtag can also win a pair of tickets to the concert. However, you must stay through the competition to claim your prize. Whether your talents are for lip syncing or social media interaction, there are plenty of opportunities here to get into the Sept. 5 concert.
The concert will also be free to Pluckers Club members. "We wanted to do something far beyond the norm to celebrate 20 years and to thank our loyal patrons at Pluckers," said Paul. "As we are UT graduates and a large percentage of our customers are Longhorn fans, it was a no-brainer to turn ACL Live at the Moody Theater into a massive Longhorn football watch party before Bleachers and Passion Pit take over the stage."Pluckers Ultimate Lip Sync Battle
