To hell with all that "it's an honor just to be nominated" malarkey. Here's a chance for vegan and vegan-friendly Austinites to put your votes where your mouths are and see to it that some of the local businesses who cater to your tastes get some much-deserved love from VegNews magazine!

Austin's own all-coconut milk NadaMoo is in the running for Favorite Vegan Ice Cream and would love to have your vote. This widely-distributed delectable frozen treat has a loyal following and could use the increased name brand recognition.

Best of Austin winners in 2012 and 2013, Capital City Bakery (2211 E. Cesar Chavez) really does vegan pastries up right. Be sure to vote for them in the Favorite Vegan Bakery category.

Fans of Arlo's Food Truck (1104 E. Sixth) will want to make sure the all-vegan operation gets the respect it deserves in voting for the Favorite Vegan Street Cart/Food Truck.

Voting is open until Aug. 31 and can be done here.
