In honor of it's 1979 butcher shop origins, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille (114 W. Seventh) will offer a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch to the first 100 diners in line when the restaurant opens at 11am on Friday morning, Sept.21.
Perry's only serves lunch on Fridays and they sell 2,500 of their signature lunch pork chops company-wide, every week. Once the thick cut chops have been dry-aged and cured, the meat is roasted with a caramelized exterior and topped with the house herb-butter sauce. These delectable behemoths are served with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce. While it sounds wonderful regardless of the price, just think how much more you'll enjoy if for less than a buck? See you there!
