Houston Fiber Artists Invade Rosedale

If you're looking for inspiration, and who isn't, the Mixed Media Artists of Houston will make its local debut next Thursday at the Dragonfly Gallery in Rosedale.

Mixed Media is a diverse collective of artists recognized through juried shows, awards, publication, and purchase of their works formed to expose the public to the depth of richness, texture and complexity of fiber art through gallery shows. Bringing together such diverse media as art quilts, collage, dyed and painted fabrics, photo transfer, weaving, machine stitching, sculptural, felting, and handmade cast-paper constructions, the group is able to produce varied and sophisticated shows. Bring your notebook and prepare to be dazzled. See you there!
