Whether you are fifty-five or fifteen, chances are you could use a tap on the shoulder from your inner ingenue, past or present. Find out at 3:30pm on June 27th at the New Moon Girls UnFashion Show at BookWoman.
New Moon Girls is an online community and print magazine by and for girls where posted artwork, poetry, video projects and mutual awareness bring greater self-esteem and positive body image. Plus, it's fun. The UnFashion Show invites you to create an outfit that reflects your unique point of view and work it down the runway for all to gasp and gawk. Participants are encouraged to tell the audience a little something about your ensemble, unless you believe it speaks loudly enough on its own.
So grab your crew and your mom on Sunday, and head over to BookWoman to create an art project that expresses your idea of beauty, take the inner beauty quiz, and have a few moon cookies! To participate, RSVP here.
