Moontower Just For Laughs Austin, the new festival from Austin's Moontower Comedy and Canada's comedy behemoth Just For Laughs, gets bigger and funnier, with - no joke - Sarah Silverman closing out the 10 day humor marathon with a show at ACL Live.
With a lineup that already includes Nikki Glaser, Dana Carvey, Natasha Leggero, Trixie Mattel, Moshe Kasher, David Spade, Marc Maron, and more than you can type without dislocating your finger, now for its first year the fused fest has announced that the Jesus is Magic genius headlines with her Sarah Silverman & Friends show. But she's not the only big name, with Neil Brennan not once, not twice, not three times, not five times, but four times with a quartet of performances of Neal Brennan: Unacceptable, the first outing of the show outside of its blockbuster sellout run in New York.
But wait. There's more. Moontower regular Tim Dillon will be bringing the acerbic, while queer comedy rebel and Comedy Cellar regular Matteo Leo will light up the Stateside.
And for those of you who like your laughs on the screen, Showtime will be firing up the Stateside projector for a sneak peak at I Love That For You, the new sitcom starring Vanessa Bayer, Molly Shannon, and Jenifer Lewis. Oh, you want some more TV shows? How's about a special panel and, yup, sneak peek of HBO's Barry with a first look at season 3 with Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, and Stephen Root in attendance.
Expect more talent and shows to be announced before the festival launches on April 13, and you can pick up badges via moontowercomedyfest.com. Here's today's list in full:
