SXSW Music Reveals Surpass Halfway Mark
Bringing the total to over 1,100 acts prepping for SXSW, lineup drop seven pushes past the halfway mark of the fest’s sprawling lineup. SXSW Music Adds 80 Acts
With South by Southwest’s Music conference just 39 days away, the fest adds another 80 acts this week. True songwriter’s songwriter Steve Earle has signed on to revisit Austin the week of March 11-17. So has Easy Life, the burgeoning UK quintet whose tasty indie pop, with hip-hop delivery, got them inked to Island Records.

Black Midi hasn’t yet released a song. Nevertheless, following a benediction from fellow London youths Shame and a brief video clip, the British press now touts them as the best band in the UK’s capital city.
