Gay Place

We all need a gaycation every now and then

The time has come, ladies. The first annual Plezzure Island kicks off today in Galveston, and we're certain that the Wolfpack (aka the women behind the party, aka Kelly West, Ashley Marshall, Gabby Ayala, and Michelle Daly) couldn't be more excited ... and just a twinge nervous. So while it's not happening in Austin proper we wanted to send them a bunch of good glittery Gay Place vibes for a fab resort takeover – Texas' very first. Of course, this is the week(end) to duck outta town. Why you say? Not because there's not amazing things happening (the best daytime dance party, Lesbian Wedding, returns Sunday; Tom Boiz take over Cheer Ups Tuesday, and the Kiyomi Valentine acoustic set with Tina She Wednesday), but the grrrl behind Gay Place is on a gaycation, so all of you should be too.
