According to a joint study by the Universidad de Costa Rica and the University of California, Berkeley, the poorest Americans die younger than the poorest Costa Ricans.

The "dead air" gap – known today by the architectural term "bee space," is the crawl space needed by a bee to pass easily between two structures. If larger than 1 cm, bees will build a comb; if smaller, they will fill it with propolis (bee glue).
