Americans consume more than 6 million tons of vinegar a year. Most of it starts out as 190-proof corn alcohol.
The first Old Spice product, a fragrance called Early American Old Spice for women, was introduced in 1937, closely followed by Old Spice for men in 1938.
Louisiana has more bridges than any other state. They include the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, which is the longest water bridge at 24 miles.
For the fourth year in a row, marijuana arrests in the U.S. set an all-time record in 2006, according to the FBI Uniform Crime Reports. Arrests totaled 829,627, up from 786,545 in 2005. Similar to previous years, 738,916 – or 89% – were for possession, and marijuana-possession arrests exceeded arrests for all violent crimes combined.
