The village of Salado, Texas, had to incorporate recently to avoid getting gobbled up by the huge metropolis of Belton, Texas.

In the movie Apocalypse Now, Colonel Lucas (played by Harrison Ford) is paying homage to George Lucas, who directed him in American Graffiti and Star Wars.
