The Przewalski horse – or Takh, as it is known in Mongolia – is the world's last truly wild horse, and is a close relative of horses that roamed through Central Asia, China, and Western Europe in prehistoric times.

The world's leading volcanologist, professor Bill McGuire, predicts an Atlantic tsunami that will "very probably" sweep ashore at jet-fighter speed swamping the southern tip of the Gulf of Mexico, north to Miami, and on up to New York.

Mount St. Helens is currently releasing about 117 cubic feet of lava per second, which is neither fast nor slow.
