"Spring Into Health!" March 21 with Nutrition and Exercise

about AIDS

"Spring Into Health!" will offer a morning of enjoyment and information about HIV and its relation to nutrition, exercise, body fat, and muscle. Designed for all those infected or affected by HIV, this event will have information, music, fun, and food, including free lunch!

The program will be 9:00am-1:00pm Saturday, March 21 in the Texas Dining Hall at Concordia University, 3400 North I-35. Early massages will be available, followed by body composition testing and guidance on exercise and nutrition. At 10:45am Dr. David Wright and an expert professional panel will address the importance and use of nutrition in managing HIV disease and AIDS.

"Spring Into Health" is sponsored by AIDS Services of Austin, Blackstock Family Health Center, CARE, HIV Wellness Center, Informe-SIDA, and the Interfaith Care Alliance. Underwriters are BTG Pharmaceuticals and Statscript Pharmacy, with lunch provided by 34th Street Pharmacy. For information call 458-AIDS (458-2437).
