Half Price Books has produced a children's short story collection titled Say Goodnight to Illiteracy, the proceeds of which will benefit literacy programs. Entries for the 1997 volume will be accepted this fall, due by Dec. 31 of this year. Also, Half Price's "Just Read" program has been expanded to include "Just Draw" program, wherein every time a child draws a book character on a Half Price bookmark, Half Price will donate a book to a national literacy project and the bookmark will be displayed at Half Price through Mar. 1.
