Now, the antis have to explain why they think a totally auto-dependent city, choking on its own traffic and smog and far more expensive than it needs to be, is the American dream. If the New Cap Met does nothing else, it's given Austin the chance to have a genuine, and long overdue, discussion of transportation issues.
