Our Shostakovich year continues, and just so you're on top of the party, here's a quick rundown of where to get your Dmitri fix through the rest of this winter.

• Golden Hornet Project tackles Shostakovich, with composers Graham Reynolds (Golden Arm Trio) and Peter Stopschinski (Brown Whornet) leading Chuck Fischer (percussion), John Dexter (cello), Bruce Colson (violin), Jerome Smith (trombone), and Erik Grostic (bass) in two sets of excerpts from/improvisations on the composer's music, including the Violin Concerto, Cello Concerto, Aphorisms for solo piano, Preludes for solo piano, Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, and more.
