Bring cans of food to the ballet for a prize in return, holdovers for 'Stadium Devildare' and 'Noises Off,' and it's time for the O. Henry Pun-Off and the Capital City Men's Chorus midnight cabaret

• Feed the needy, and get some culture in return. For its production of Cinderella this weekend, Ballet Austin is teaming up with the Capital Area Food Bank. Anyone bringing two cans of food to donate will receive "tutu bucks" to be used toward the cost of tickets to one of the ballet's productions next season.

• Speaking of Cinderella, owing to popular demand for the matinee performance on Sunday, Ballet Austin has added another matinee: Saturday, May 15, at 3pm. For tickets, call 469-SHOW or visit www.startickets.com.

• The Rude Mechanicals are giving you three more opportunities to see Stadium Devildare, their fuel-injected collaboration with playwright Ruth Margraff and final show of their season. Originally slated to close this Sunday, May 16, the Stadium will stay open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 20-22. For more information, call 476-RUDE or visit www.rudemechs.com.

Naughty Austin is giving you even more opportunities to see its production of Noises Off. Their take on Michael Frayn's farce cubed is extended until June 5, with performances Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at Arts on Real. For more information, call 472-2787 or visit www.naughtyaustin.com.

• Get your groan on this weekend when the most shameless of wordsmiths gather to pun-tificate at the 27th annual O. Henry Pun-Off. Be at the Wooldridge Park gazebo, 900 Guadalupe, on Saturday, May 15. High noon is when the pun-slinging starts. Admission is free. For more information, call 472-1903 or visit www.punpunpun.com.

• The Capital City Men's Chorus is holding a midnight cabaret at 11pm, Friday and Saturday, May 14-15, at the Vortex, 2307 Manor. Along with irreverent musical performances by the CCMC and guests, including Kristine Olson and Laura Powell, the affair promises a silent auction, snacks, adult libations, and strapping cabaret waiters. For more information, call 477-SING or visit www.ccmcaustin.org.
