Neither rain, nor scorching temps, nor running mascara could stop the city's queer community from celebrating Austin Pride 2018 all weekend long. Despite a major down pour just hours before rolling out, Saturday night's parade brought one of the largest crowds and wettest routes in recent history. Over 100 floats lit up Downtown for the second night in a row. Pride revelers took over several blocks of Fourth Street to kick off the celebratory weekend on Friday, in commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Riots and in honor of the entire LGBTQIA community.
